Eligibility Criteria
This scholarship is open to students entering or continuing graduate programs at York University. To qualify, you must meet the following requirements:
- Program Status: You must be a full-time Master’s or Doctoral student (Part-time considered on a case-by-case basis).
- Master’s: 1-year or 2-year programs (eligible for up to 2 years of funding).
- PhD: Enrolled in Year 1, 2, or 3 (eligible for up to 4 years of funding).
- Faculty Enrollment: You must belong to one of the following faculties:
- Health, Science, Education, Environmental & Urban Change, Liberal Arts & Professional Studies, Osgoode Hall Law School, Lassonde School of Engineering, or School of Arts, Media, Performance & Design.
- Research Focus: Your research must focus on Global Health topics aligned with the institute's mandate.
Scholar Benefits & Responsibilities
Recipients are named "Dahdaleh Graduate Global Health Scholars." Apart from the financial award, you will: Participate: Attend weekly global health graduate seminars. Present: Share your research progress at least once a year at the institute's symposium. Network: Gain access to the institute’s open workspace and special workshops.
