However, students must hurry as the last date to submit applications is fast approaching. The deadline for most major central and UGC schemes is set for November 30, 2025.
Many students assume they are not eligible and miss out on financial support. This portal covers a wide range of categories including SC, ST, OBC, Students with Disabilities, and even General category students pursuing higher education. If you haven't checked your eligibility yet, now is the time.

1. For Scheduled Tribe (ST) Students

3. For OBC, EBC, and DNT Students

4. For Students with Disabilities

How to Apply
The application process is fully online. Follow these steps to ensure your application is submitted before the deadline:
- Visit the Portal: Go to the official National Scholarship Portal (scholarships.gov.in).
- Check Eligibility: Use the "Scheme Eligibility" section to see which schemes apply to you.
- Register/Login: If you are a new student, complete your One Time Registration (OTR). Existing students can simply login.
- Fill Application: Enter your academic details and upload necessary documents (Income Certificate, Caste Certificate, Marksheets, etc.).
