This scholarship supports the E3 initiative (Engineering, Environment, and Emerging Technologies). You must hold an offer for one of the following programs:

Undergraduate Programs:

  • BAI Engineering / Engineering with Management
  • Biological and Biomedical Science
  • Geography and Geoscience
  • Computer Science (Single or Joint Honours with Business, Linguistics, Geography, Economics)
  • Environmental Science and Engineering
  • Management Science and Information Systems Studies

Postgraduate Programs:

  • Full-time taught masters in the School of Engineering.
  • Full-time taught masters in the School of Computer Science and Statistics.
  • Full-time taught masters in the School of Natural Sciences.
  • MSc in Energy Science.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Fee Status: You must have Non-EU status and pay tuition fees at the non-EU rate.
  • Admission: You must hold a valid offer letter for first-year entry into one of the eligible programs listed above.
  • Merit: Selection is based on academic achievement and your potential to contribute to the E3 initiative.

Application Process: The 200-Word Statement

The application form is simple, but the most critical part is the personal statement. You are required to write 200 words on the following topic:

"How I will contribute to the E3 Initiative and provide Balanced Solutions for a Better World at Trinity College Dublin."

TCD reviews applications in batches. Applying early is highly recommended to secure funding.
