Additional Costs: Visa application fees and pre-academic training costs are also covered.

Eligibility Criteria

This program is highly competitive. To qualify, you must meet the following strict requirements:

• Nationality: You must hold a passport from a Non-EU/EEA country (Switzerland and Suriname are also excluded). You must not possess dual nationality with an EU country.
• Age Limit: You must be under 35 years of age on 1 September 2026.
• Academic Excellence: You must have excellent grades in your previous degree (Minimum GPA of 7.5/10 or equivalent to 75%).
• Program Application: You must have applied for admission to the full-time Master’s in Globalisation and Law for the 2026-2027 academic year.
• Experience: You must have a proven record of promoting human rights or the rule of law through your work or community initiatives.

Step 1: Apply for the Master’s Program (By Dec 8, 2025) Apply for the Globalisation and Law master's program via Studielink. You need to do this early to receive your UM Student ID, which is required for the scholarship form. Important: The admission deadline for scholarship applicants is 8 December 2025.
